Platinum Award

Strong, solid organizations measure their effectiveness using metrics related to their administrative excellence. For APICS these metrics are centered on the effectiveness of the local chapters. Each chapter must render an annual report showing how it met/exceeded these metrics. The awards for compliance are Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. To reach the Platinum category the local chapter must have achieved Gold during five consecutive years.

Our APICS Puerto Rico Chapter reached its first Gold award in 1994 during Angel Sosa’s term as chapter president. We have been a Platinum chapter since 1998. This year (2018) marks our 20th year as a Platinum chapter. The Puerto Rico chapter is one of the outstanding chapters in the APICS organization. We are very happy to be a Platinum Chapter and we thank all the APICS community for the support year by year.
